Overview

PromptSoar ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle — and don't handle — when you use the PromptSoar iPhone app.

The short version: we don't collect your personal data. Your prompts live on your device, not on our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

PromptSoar does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

  • Your name, email address, or any account information
  • The prompts or content you save inside the app
  • Usage data, analytics, or behavioral data
  • Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
  • Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to us

We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party data collection tools.

Data Storage

All data you create in PromptSoar — including your saved prompts, tags, and notes — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard on-device storage (Core Data). This data never leaves your device unless you have iCloud Backup enabled in your iOS settings, in which case it is included in your personal iCloud backup. That backup is yours; we do not have access to it.

Third-Party Services

PromptSoar does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. The only external service involved is the Apple App Store, which handles app distribution and any purchases. Apple's privacy policy governs that interaction.

Children's Privacy

PromptSoar is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use of PromptSoar after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
